Ruth Elizabeth Beaver was born on November 7, 1903 in Rowan County. She died at the age of 62 on July 11, 1966. She married Leonard Cordell Faggart who was born on October 31, 1905. He died at the age of 78 on July 12, 1984. 

Ruth and Leonard had two children:
*Thelma Lois Lentz Bostian (1926-1982)
*Gene Cordell Faggart (1932-2002)
